Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
Pay Rate: $20-30/hr
Hiring For: Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics
Schedule: 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Must Haves:
- 6+ months experience as a medical assistant
- One of the following medical assistant certifications:
- MA-C, MA-R, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA
- BLS/CPR certification

Day to Day:
The Medical Assistant performs a variety of back-office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys and various other procedures in an outpatient setting. Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards. The Medical Assistant functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for providing assistance to patients delivering high quality patient care. This person will be responsible for:
- Rooming patients, obtaining PHI, CC, updating/verifying medications, allergies, and pharmacy
- Stocking rooms after shift
- Prepping any used instruments for sterilizations
- Manage inbox/paperwork for patients
- Coordinate Care for patients and providers
